Let's lay all the cards on the table.
I realize the norm in this space is to make a list of things that make me sound like a moderately cool person who you might just want to grab a cup-o-joe with,
but there you see? We're already off to a shaky start because I do frequently use phrases like cup-o-joe, which knocks out any chance at cool status.
So there's that.
You might like to hear about the years I've spent behind a camera, about my six awesome kids or about how I made a giant cake in the shape of Simba's mask from the Broadway production of The Lion King. I do, in fact, like coffee but am recently forced to drink decaf (get yourself some swiss water processed decaf for the win, if you ever meet such a sad fate) and I like spending waaay too much time hunting down treasures in thrift stores. You can check out my story further down this page,
but let's be real.
The most important fact you'll take away from this "about me" section is actually about you:
I am obsessed with making beautiful, on brand images that resonate with your ideal client and will be used to convert into not just a pretty site, but sales.

I grew up singing. I loved it so much that I studied vocal performance in college! {Here I am with an unlucky orphan who will eventually scheme with my daughter to give me my just desserts.}
Along the way somewhere, a family showed up! I wasn't interested in having a foot in both worlds, so I said goodbye to the stage and hello to six gorgeous blessings {along with an estimated 15 years or so of changing diapers!}
These are my people.
Creativity didn't have to take a backseat, though, as each of my children seemed to gravitate to music, acting, filmmaking, drawing, writing, baking, and building.
Along the way I eagerly learned new art-intensive skills. As each child picked up a new craft, so did I.
In 2018, everything changed.
I picked up a camera to study architecture photography with amazing photographer and sister, Casey Squyres.
As it happened, I loved photography. I started searching for teachers who were experts at different mediums and jumping into learning everything from portrait to lifestyle to landscape, newborn to street photography.
The part I loved most was interaction with people.
Capturing who they were, in their space, with their people, doing what God had gifted them to do.
Right around then I began to study something called Brand Photography with photographer, Jamie Swanson.
And there it was. The link between worlds.
To become excellent at Brand Photography it is necessary to both have a creative outlook on life in general and have skill in all photography disciplines because you use every one of them in this craft.
From that moment, I haven't looked back. I continue to grow and learn more how to serve people well.
It's a joy.
